Arabic text (البروج)

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ ۝١ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ ۝٢ وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ ۝٣ قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ ۝٤ ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ ۝٥ إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ ۝٦ وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ ۝٧ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ ۝٨ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ ۝٩ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ ۝١٠ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ ۝١١ إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ ۝١٢ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ ۝١٣ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ ۝١٤ ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ ۝١٥ فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ ۝١٦ هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ ۝١٧ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ ۝١٨ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ ۝١٩ وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ ۝٢٠ بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ ۝٢١ فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۭ ۝٢٢

English translation

1By the sky with the constellations.

2And by the Promised Day.

3And by the witness and the witnessed.

4Destroyed were the People of the Trench.

5The fire supplied with fuel.

6While they sat around it.

7And were witnessing what they did to the believers.

8They begrudged them only because they believed in Allah the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.

9To whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Allah is Witness over everything.

10Those who tempt the believers, men and women, then do not repent; for them is the punishment of Hell; for them is the punishment of Burning.

11Those who believe and do righteous deeds will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph.

12The onslaught of your Lord is severe.

13It is He who begins and repeats.

14And He is the Forgiving, the Loving.

15Possessor of the Glorious Throne.

16Doer of whatever He wills.

17Has there come to you the story of the legions?

18Of Pharaoh and Thamood?

19In fact, those who disbelieve are in denial.

20And Allah encloses them from beyond.

21In fact, it is a Glorious Quran.

22In a Preserved Tablet.
